Dragonborn

Dragonborn are not a naturally occurring race. Dragonborn are the product of two mortals that have procreated with each other. When a dragon bestows a mortal the gift of draconic blood they become a half dragon.When two mortals who were given the gift of the dragon, they produce dragonborn is the the product of these couplings.

Dragonborn are usually in convents with other dragonborn, with the dragons that bestowed the gift presiding over them. There are pockets of multiple different metallic dragons working together with their mortals that they gave the gift to working and living together. Chromatic dragonborn do not usually work together because the chromatic dragons don't often work together and when they do, it isn't for long.
